Jake & Becky Hjemvick

Jake and Becky Hjemvick have been serving with Christ For the City International (CFCI) since 2011, when they answered the call to become missionaries in El Salvador. During their time on the field, they were actively involved in sports ministry, ESL programs, prison ministry, child sponsorship, and community development initiatives. In 2015, Jake was appointed Director of the El Salvador base, a role he held until 2020 when the family transitioned to CFCI’s Central Office in Omaha, Nebraska. Jake initially served as Chief Operating Officer and now leads the organization as President & CEO. Becky also serves in the Central Office as the bookkeeper, continuing their shared commitment to advancing CFCI’s mission worldwide.
