Currently available in seven U.S. cities, Urban Plunge offers 1-day, weekend, and weeklong mission trips. Each day, you’ll partner with 2-3 different inner-city ministries, helping to bless and expand their volunteer capacity. What will I experience on an Urban Plunge?
During your trip you will engage with multiple ministry partners caring for the city and the people in it. Each day you will have the opportunity to serve in 2-3 different ministry projects or locations. Service opportunities may include:
- Homeless shelter
- Food bank
- Immigrant or refugee ministry
- Work with the elderly
- City park cleanup
- Children’s or sports programs
- Prayer walks
- Painting, cleaning, or maintenance projects

Groups are responsible for their own transportation to and from the trip, as well as daily travel to ministry sites. Please reserve space in your lead vehicle for a facilitator (and possibly an assistant), along with room for a cooler and basic supplies.
