Zimbabwe Prison Ministry Mission Trip: Discipleship, Evangelism & Inmate Care

Serve alongside local ministry leaders in Zimbabwe through prison ministry focused on discipleship, prayer, encouragement, and sharing the hope and love of Jesus with inmates and their families.

Many incarcerated men and women in Zimbabwe carry stories marked by poverty, addiction, violence, broken relationships, trauma, hopelessness, and lack of opportunity. Prison ministry creates opportunities for people to encounter grace, dignity, community, discipleship, and the transforming hope of Christ — sometimes for the very first time.

At CFCI, we believe the Gospel is holistic.

That means we care about both spiritual and practical needs — walking alongside people through compassion, prayer, discipleship, encouragement, practical support, and the love of Jesus.

This ministry is about more than visiting a prison.

It’s about reminding people they are not forgotten.
That their story is not over.
And that redemption is possible.

Through prison visits, Bible studies, prayer ministry, encouragement, discipleship, relationship-building, and practical support, teams have the opportunity to serve alongside local churches and ministry leaders already faithfully investing in inmates and their spiritual growth.

Sometimes ministry looks simple:
Listening to someone’s story.
Praying together.
Sharing your testimony.
Encouraging someone who feels hopeless.
Helping provide medication assistance or practical support.

But those moments matter deeply.

You’ll serve alongside Zimbabwean ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in their communities. Together, you’ll help create environments where inmates experience dignity, spiritual encouragement, discipleship, compassion, and the hope and love of Jesus.

Through CFCI Zimbabwe, teams, churches, students, young adults, pastors, and individuals have opportunities to serve alongside local ministries in meaningful ways throughout the year.
