Zimbabwe Community Outreach Mission Trip: Home Visits, Family Care & Prayer Ministry

Step into the everyday lives of families in Zimbabwe through community outreach, home visits, prayer ministry, and relationship-based care.

Through this ministry, teams have the opportunity to visit individuals and families in their homes, build relationships, listen to stories, offer encouragement, pray with community members, and provide practical support to those facing difficult circumstances.

At CFCI, we believe the Gospel is holistic.

That means we care about both spiritual and practical needs — meeting people with compassion, dignity, encouragement, and the hope of Jesus.

Many of the communities we serve face poverty, unemployment, food insecurity, illness, and limited access to resources. Home visit ministry creates opportunities to walk alongside people in meaningful ways, reminding them they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.

This ministry is about showing up.
Listening well.
Praying faithfully.
And helping people know they are not alone.

You’ll serve alongside Zimbabwean ministry leaders who already know and love their communities deeply. Together, you’ll help create moments of connection, encouragement, prayer, and support for individuals and families facing everyday challenges.

Some moments may look simple:

Sitting with a family in their home.
Praying with someone facing illness.
Listening to a grandmother share her story.
Helping provide medication assistance.
Encouraging a parent who feels overwhelmed.

But those moments matter.

Through CFCI Zimbabwe, teams, churches, schools, students, young adults, and individuals have opportunities to serve alongside local ministries in meaningful ways throughout the year.

You simply need a willing heart and a posture of compassion.
