Costa Rica Medical Mission Trip: Dental Care, Healthcare & Community Outreach

Use your medical skills, compassion, and expertise to care for others, build relationships, and share the love of Jesus.

Through medical clinics, health education, dental care, vision services, chiropractic care, and community outreach, you’ll serve alongside local ministry leaders while providing compassionate care to individuals and families who may have limited access to healthcare.

This trip is ideal for doctors, nurses, dentists, dental hygienists, ophthalmologists, chiropractors, medical professionals, students, and individuals who want to use their skills to serve in a cross-cultural setting. Whether you’re providing clinical care, helping with patient intake, offering encouragement, or simply serving wherever needed, there is a place for you on the team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with local ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in their communities and the people they serve.
• Provide compassionate medical care through family medicine, general medicine, and women’s health services.
• Serve through specialized healthcare including ophthalmology, chiropractic care, dentistry, and dental hygiene.
• Build relationships through healthcare by listening to patients, offering encouragement, praying with individuals and families, and treating each person with dignity and compassion.
• Serve in several of Costa Rica’s largest cities while staying at one of our local CFCI bases.

You’ll fly into San José, Costa Rica, and stay in a Christ For the City International guesthouse while experiencing ministry alongside local leaders and communities.

You may examine a patient, provide dental care, help someone see more clearly, offer chiropractic treatment, care for a woman’s health needs, or simply sit and listen to someone’s story. Every patient is more than a diagnosis. Every interaction is an opportunity to show someone they are seen, valued, and loved.
