In Guatemala, sports are more than games — they’re a bridge to relationships, mentorship, community, and the hope of Jesus.

Serve alongside local leaders through soccer outreach, sports camps, team practices, tournaments, discipleship, community events, and relationship-based ministry with children, teens, women, and men.

Whether you play competitively or simply love encouraging others, your willingness to show up matters.

At CFCI, we believe the Gospel is holistic.

That means we care about the whole person — spiritual, emotional, relational, and physical needs. Through sports ministry, we create spaces where people experience belonging, encouragement, mentorship, healthy community, and the love of Christ in tangible ways.

Over 75% of Guatemala’s population lives below the poverty line, and many youth face violence, gangs, and hopelessness every day. Sports ministry creates a different path — one rooted in purpose, belonging, discipleship, teamwork, and the hope of Jesus.

You’ll serve alongside Guatemalan ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in their communities. Together, you’ll help create environments where kids, teens, and families are seen, valued, challenged, encouraged, and ultimately pointed toward the hope and love of Jesus.

Through CFCI Guatemala, teams, churches, schools, students, and individuals have opportunities to serve alongside local ministries in meaningful ways throughout the year.
