Guatemala Evangelism Mission Trip: Outreach, Discipleship & Community Ministry

Use your words, presence, and willingness to build relationships, serve communities, and share the love of Jesus.

Through prayer ministry, community outreach, discipleship, worship, family visits, children’s ministry, sports outreach, and conversations in everyday spaces, you’ll serve alongside local churches and ministry leaders who are faithfully reaching their communities with the Gospel.

This trip is ideal for individuals, families, students, youth groups, and church groups who want to grow in evangelism, discipleship, and cross-cultural ministry. You don’t need to be a professional speaker or have all the right words. You simply need a willing heart, a desire to listen, and a willingness to point people toward Jesus through both words and actions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with local pastors and ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in their communities.
• Create opportunities for people to experience prayer, encouragement, discipleship, community, and the love of God in tangible ways.
• Share the Gospel through relationships by listening to stories, having meaningful conversations, sharing your testimony, praying with individuals and families, and serving with humility.
• Serve through a variety of outreach opportunities including community events, family visits, street evangelism, worship, sports, children’s ministry, youth outreach, and VBS-style programs.
• Serve in several of Guatemala’s largest cities while staying at one of our local CFCI bases.

You’ll fly into Guatemala City, Guatemala, and stay in a Christ For the City International guesthouse while experiencing ministry alongside local leaders and communities.

Evangelism isn’t about having the perfect presentation or knowing exactly what to say. It’s about loving people well, listening to their stories, serving with humility, and being willing to share the hope of Christ.

You may pray with a family in their home, encourage a child through a soccer game, worship alongside a local church, share your testimony, or simply take the time to listen to someone’s story. God can use every conversation, every prayer, and every act of love.
