Guatemala Children’s Ministry Mission Trip: VBS, Bible Clubs, Sports & Camps

Through VBS-style programs, Bible clubs, sports outreach, camps, games, crafts, worship, and creative activities, you’ll serve alongside local ministry leaders and connect with children and families in meaningful, personal ways.

This trip is ideal for individuals, families, students, and church groups who love working with kids—or simply have a heart to serve, encourage, and share Jesus in a cross-cultural setting. You don’t have to be a professional teacher, coach, or children’s ministry leader. You just need a willing heart and a desire to invest in the next generation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with local ministry leaders who are already invested in their communities and children.
• Create spaces of joy and connection where kids can feel seen, valued, safe, and experience the love of Jesus.
• Bring ministry to life through VBS-style programs, Bible clubs, soccer camps, games, crafts, music, skits, worship, and creative activities.
• Build relationships through hands-on ministry that opens doors for conversations, encouragement, prayer, and sharing the Gospel.
• Serve in several of Guatemala’s largest cities while staying at one of our local CFCI bases.

You’ll fly into Guatemala City, Guatemala, and stay in a Christ For the City International guesthouse while experiencing ministry alongside local leaders and communities.

Your Love for Kids Can Be a Ministry.

You may come ready to lead a soccer game, teach a Bible lesson, organize a craft, lead worship, or simply sit and listen to a child’s story. God can use all of it.
