In Guatemala, beauty and empowerment ministry is about far more than appearance — it’s about restoration, healing, encouragement, discipleship, and reminding women they are deeply loved by God.

Serve alongside local ministry leaders through beauty services, mentorship, prayer, relationship-building, vocational training, and encouragement for women in the community.

At CFCI, we believe the Gospel is holistic.

That means we care about the whole person — spiritual, emotional, relational, and practical needs. Through beauty and empowerment ministry, we create spaces where women experience dignity, healing, confidence, belonging, practical support, and the hope of Jesus in tangible ways.

Many women in Guatemala face poverty, insecurity, abandonment, low self-worth, and limited opportunities for stable income. This ministry helps create a different path — one rooted in dignity, encouragement, practical skills, discipleship, community, and hope for the future.

At Steps of Faith (Pasos de Fe), every haircut, manicure, conversation, and moment of care becomes an opportunity to speak life, value, and truth into someone’s heart.

This ministry exists to remind women that while we care for the exterior, true beauty comes from within. Through prayer, listening, encouragement, and the love of Christ, women are reminded that they are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Beyond beauty services, the ministry also provides vocational training through a Basic Haircutting Course that equips women with technical and entrepreneurial skills to help them start small businesses and provide sustainable income for their families.

You’ll serve alongside Guatemalan ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in their communities. Together, you’ll help create environments where women feel seen, valued, encouraged, empowered, and ultimately pointed toward the hope and love of Jesus.

The Steps of Faith ministry takes place inside a beauty salon that has been lovingly built within the CFCI ministry base in Chimaltenango, Guatemala. For visiting teams, it becomes a meaningful space for vulnerability, connection, prayer, healing, and transformation.

Through CFCI Guatemala, teams, churches, schools, students, skilled workers, and individuals have opportunities to serve alongside local ministries in meaningful ways throughout the year.

And this is part of something bigger.
