Costa Rica Evangelism Mission Trip: Outreach, Discipleship & Community Ministry

Step into communities in Costa Rica to share the hope, love, and message of Jesus through relationship-based outreach and evangelism.

Through prayer ministry, community outreach, discipleship, worship, family visits, children’s ministry, sports outreach, and conversations in everyday spaces, teams have the opportunity to serve alongside local churches and ministry leaders who are faithfully reaching their communities with the Gospel.

At CFCI, we believe the Gospel is holistic.

That means we care about both spiritual and practical needs — meeting people with compassion, dignity, encouragement, and the hope of Christ.

Evangelism in Costa Rica is not about having all the right words or creating polished presentations.

It’s about loving people well.
Listening to their stories.
Serving with humility.
And being willing to point people toward Jesus through both words and actions.

You’ll serve alongside Costa Rican pastors and ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in their communities. Together, you’ll help create opportunities for people to experience prayer, encouragement, discipleship, community, and the love of God in tangible ways.

Teams may serve through:

• Family & home visits
• Street evangelism
• Worship & testimonies
• Sports & children’s outreach
• VBS-style ministry
• Youth outreach
• Relationship-building conversations
• Supporting local churches & ministries

Many of the communities we serve face poverty, instability, violence, addiction, and hopelessness. Through consistent outreach and discipleship, local churches are helping create spaces where individuals and families can experience healing, belonging, purpose, and transformation through Jesus.

Costa Rica is one of CFCI’s largest ministry bases, creating opportunities for churches, youth groups, college students, young adults, ministry teams, and individuals to serve in meaningful ways throughout the year.

And this is part of something bigger.
