Costa Rica Art Ministry Mission Trip: Arts, Crafts, Sewing & Creative Outreach

Use creativity to build relationships, encourage communities, and share the hope and love of Jesus in Costa Rica.

Through art classes, sewing workshops, murals, crafts, painting projects, creative workshops, and outreach activities, teams have the opportunity to serve alongside local ministry leaders while connecting with children, women, and families in meaningful and personal ways.

At CFCI, we believe the Gospel is holistic.

That means we care about both spiritual and practical needs — creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, encouraged, and inspired.

Art and sewing ministry creates opportunities for expression, healing, confidence, creativity, and community. Whether you’re painting murals, teaching crafts, leading photography workshops, organizing creative activities, or simply creating alongside others, art becomes a bridge for relationships and conversations that point people toward Jesus.

You do not have to be a professional artist to serve.

If you are willing to create, encourage, teach, and connect with people, there is a place for you in this ministry.

Teams in the past have helped paint murals, lead art classes for children and women, organize crafts and creative activities, and bring supplies for hands-on workshops and outreach events. If your team has a creative skill or idea, we would love to explore ways to use it in ministry.

You’ll serve alongside Costa Rican ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in their communities. Together, you’ll help create environments where children, women, and families can experience joy, encouragement, belonging, creativity, and the hope and love of Jesus.
