Costa Rica Teaching & Education Mission Trip: Tutoring, English & Youth Mentorship

Help create safe, encouraging spaces where children and teens in Costa Rica can learn, grow, build relationships, and experience the love of Jesus.

Through after-school programs, teams have the opportunity to serve alongside local ministry leaders by helping with tutoring, English classes, homework support, games, mentorship, meals, creative activities, and community outreach for children and youth.

At CFCI, we believe the Gospel is holistic.

That means we care about both spiritual and practical needs — helping children experience safety, encouragement, education, community, and hope for their future.

Many of the communities we serve face poverty, instability, violence, and limited educational opportunities. After-school programs help create safe environments where kids can stay off the streets, receive support in their learning, build healthy relationships, and grow in confidence and purpose.

But this ministry is about more than academics.

It’s about showing kids they matter.
Encouraging them to dream bigger.
Creating spaces where they are known, supported, and loved.

You’ll serve alongside Costa Rican ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in their communities. Together, you’ll help create environments where children and teens are seen, valued, encouraged, challenged, and pointed toward the hope and love of Jesus.

Whether you’re helping with English practice, tutoring math, organizing games, leading crafts, serving a meal, or simply spending time with students — every moment matters.
