A little about Where Most Needed (Panama):
Panama is the bridge of the Americas and a center of international commerce. Following the completion of the Panama Canal in 1914, over 800,000 ships have passed through the canal from one ocean to the other. The population of Panama City makes up roughly one-half of the country’s total population of 3.4 million.
Though this nation is prospering, it has one of the worst income disparities between the rich and the poor in the world. CFCI Panama works with local schools to provide meals to impoverished students and resources to parents.
