As you likely know, we’re in a situation with the Coronavirus pandemic that none of us have been in before and things are changing hour by hour. We want you to know that our leadership team has been closely monitoring the situation, consulting wise counsel, and prayerfully discerning how to best serve our teams, countries, ministries and projects during this time.

What do we know?

Here’s what we know for sure: King Jesus is sitting on his throne, is Lord over all things, and is working all things together for the good of those who love Him (Isaiah 45:7, Psalm 135:6, Romans 8:28). We also know that God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). With these assurances, the gospel frees us to navigate these uncertain times with confidence, faith, joy, and an undying commitment to love God and our neighbors!

What are we doing?

  • We have postponed all trips through the end of April. We are making decisions daily as to if we need to postpone more trips as the situation changes and new information becomes available.

  • Closely monitoring the situation by checking the CDC and WHO’s websites daily.

  • Keeping up with the latest news and decisions being made by Local and Federal Officials.

  • Keeping in touch with our bases for the latest developments.

  • Praying and seeking direction from the Lord.

Why did we make this decision?

The CDC and WHO are encouraging the public to limit travel and large gatherings to help slow or stop the spread of the virus. We believe that the most selfless and loving thing we could do is to limit the amount of travel we offer and minimize large group gatherings to slow the spread of possible community transmission and reduce the number of people affected. We do this in order to love and protect those most vulnerable in communities in which we serve.

What are some ways you can respond?

We are working with local ministries and our bases to get updated information in order to let you know how you can partner with them. Here is what that means:

  • We encourage you to serve in your own communities in a safe and wise way.

  • As we find ways for people to serve in our current Urban Plunge cities we will make them known via our Social Media pages on Facebook and Instagram

  • If you are able please go and serve with them.

  • We know that traveling may not be possible or just not wise. We encourage you to support our international bases and missionaries in prayer and finances as they serve those that are in need.

  • As we gather information from our international bases we will share this with you via our Social Media pages on Facebook and Instagram

  • We are still offering mission trips, but things are fluid. If you are looking to go on a trip, please inquire and we can give you the most up to date information. (
