U.S. Base Development Plan
We help prepare people to Take their City for Christ
We believe God has called CFCI to help prepare the way for city transformation.
Transformation can only begin to take place when a city recognizes its sin against God, humbles itself before God, and calls out in repentance to God.
We believe God is calling these to work together:
MINISTRIES - Churches, Compassion ministries, Mission organizations and others
CITY INTERCESSORS - Those God has called to intercede for their community.
MARKET PLACE LEADERS - Those God has strategically placed in business, government, education and media.
We believe as leaders from each of these segments of society gather for times of prayer and strategic planning, God will begin to reveal Himself and allow them to see what He is doing in their midst. As He speaks, they are better prepared to listen and work together to accomplish more than if they went it alone.
Are you a leader in one of these areas in your city? Is God calling you to impact your city for Him? If so, contact me at Randy@cfci.org
As we approach a city, we employ the following strategy to help prepare the way for transformation:
N. Networking - Ministries, business, government and educational resources. We seek to bring the whole Body of Christ together in a place of unity so the world will know that Jesus was sent from above. (John 17) See www.HarvestNetCB.org for an example of a working network.
E. Equipping - people with research, strategies and leadership training. Many people struggle with the "call of God" for ministry, some simply need help in knowing what they should do next. See www.emergingministriesinstitute.org for more details of our EMI program.
E. Engaging - people in short-term missions by involving them in city ministry or international missions. Urban Plunge is a great first-step in helping people to step out of their box and touch someone else with God's love.
D. Developing - bases and ministries that care for people's physical and spiritual needs. A new offering currently being developed is Crisis Care Responders. Check it out and see if it could work in your community.
As we seek the NEEDs of a community, we work to build networks, offer ourselves to equip others for works of service, encourage people to get out of the pews and go out to the lost, and then provide the necessary infrastructure so the work will carry on even after we are gone.
Can you see yourself doing something like this in your community? Download the Base Planter Questionnaire and discern if God is calling you to partner with CFCI. If so, complete the application and return it to us and let's talk.
